Total Access Communication (dtac and the national telecom regulator are reaffirming the rights of persons with disabilities by jointly offering privileges for disabled customers, with special prices aimed at encouraging their increased access to communication services.
Those who want to apply for the special offers are required to show their disability ID card to staff at dtac outlets.
Prepaid customers will receive a 10-per-cent bonus on every top-up, while post-paid customers will get a 10-pre-cent reduction on their package prices.
An Internet speed of 1Mbps is guaranteed.
Paradai Theerathada, dtac's chief corporate affairs officer, said on Monday: “The move reflects our commitment to equality amongst groups in society, which is a key role of Internet and digital technology, as well as dtac's vision.”
