Fire at Provincial Waterworks Authority put out

Firefighters took about two hours to put out a blaze at the Provincial Waterworks Authority head office Monday evening.



The fire broke out at 6:45 pm on the fourth floor of the second building at the PWA head office.

About 20 fire engines managed to control the blaze at 8:45 pm. Fire fighters kept on dousing the building to prevent the fire from restarting.
