Hamilton’s Steak House at the Dusit Thani Bangkok is joining up with Robert Mondavi Winery for two special evenings of fine food and wines on July 20-21 starting at 6.30pm.
The evening starts with a welcome cocktail and a glass of Robert Mondavi Woodbridge White Zinfandel to whet the appetite. The five-course meal features a starter of Fresh Crab Salad with Pineapple, Deep-fried Calamari Ring, Micro Herbs and Grapefruit Jelly with Robert Mondavi Private Selection Sauvignon Blanc then moves on to Lobster Ravioli, Light Lobster Foam with Avocado Chips paired with Private Selection Chardonnay with its notes of ripe apple, melon, citrus, and tropical fruit aromas.
The third course delivers a delectable Pan-fried Keta Salmon Lightly Smoked with 4 Spices, Green Fava Bean, and White Asparagus served with Private Selection Pinot Noir.
The main course is a Duo of USDA Beef Tenderloin and Short Ribs, Parsnips Mousseline, Baby Turnip, and Red Wine Sauce paired with Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
The dinner ends with a Chocolate Raspberry Creation with Cherry Sauce washed down with Woodbridge Zinfandel, which has earned its reputation as California’s “own” grape variety. Its bright aromas and flavours show wild cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate-covered cranberries, and peppery spice character - a perfect finale for the night.
Prices are Bt3,500-plus and Bt3,200-plus for Dusit Gold members.
